Carlos Alazraqui
Carlos Alazraqui has worked hard to establish himself as one of the funniest men on television today. He is a voice we hear almost on a daily basis – we just don’t know it. And now, we get to meet the man behind the voice. Currently, Carlos can be seen playing Officer James Garcia, a cop who takes his job a bit too seriously on the all-improv Comedy Central series RENO 911, now entering its fifth season. In this all-improv show, RENO 911 is designed to parody the cop shows we see on television today, with an added soap opera edge. RENO 911 – MIAMI opened this past year on the big screen from 20th Century Fox. Carlos is probably best known as the voice of a very famous Chihuahua, popularizing the slogan “Yo Quiero Taco Bell”. But every week, Carlos can be heard as Monroe in THE LIFE & TIMES OF JUNIPER LEE and Lazlo on CAMP LAZLO, both airing on the Cartoon Network. Carlos can also be heard as Mr. Crocker, the schoolteacher on the Nickelodeon hit series Fairly Odd Parents, Rocko on Rocko’s Modern Life (Nickelodeon), as Rikochet on Mucha Lucha (WB) and in the PBS series Handy Mandy, Maya and Miguel. And as an actor, Carlos has made guest appearances on Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, The Brothers Garcia, Men Behaving Badly and That ‘70s Show. And last year, Carlos starred in his own Half Hour Comedy Special for Comedy Central. Carlos was also just seen playing one of the wacky penguins alongside Robin Williams in George Miller’s animated film HAPPY FEET (Warner Bros.). Past film credits for Carlos include: Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Osmosis Jones and A Bugs Life. ...
